We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and passionate Tattoo Shop Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are serious about pursuing a career in tattooing and are eager to learn the craft from experienced professionals in a respectful, structured shop environment. This role focuses on learning shop operations, hygiene and safety standards, client interaction, and foundational tattoo skills under the guidance of our artists. Responsibilities >Assist artists with daily shop operations and setup >Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary shop environment >Learn and follow all sterilization, hygiene, and safety protocols >Greet clients and provide excellent customer service >Support front desk duties including scheduling, cleaning, and supply management >Observe tattoo procedures and participate in hands-on learning as skills progress >Practice drawing, design fundamentals, and tattoo techniques as directed >Uphold the reputation, professionalism, and standards of Stay Marked Tattoo Qualifications >Strong interest in pursuing tattooing as a long-term career >Solid drawing skills and artistic foundation (portfolio required) >Willingness to learn, take direction, and accept constructive feedback >Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude >Strong work ethic and attention to detail >Ability to communicate respectfully with artists, staff, and clients >Must be eligible to obtain required Washington State certifications (e.g., Bloodborne Pathogens) What We Offer >Hands-on learning in a professional, well-established tattoo studio >Mentorship from experienced tattoo artists >Supportive, structured, and artist-focused environment >Opportunity for long-term growth within the shop >Real-world experience in a busy Issaquah location with consistent clientele
