Terms of Service

TattooGigs is an online marketplace that connects tattoo artists with tattoo studios seeking to fill guest spots, apprenticeships, and permanent positions. We provide tools for posting job listings, discovering artist profiles, and facilitating direct communication between parties.

TattooGigs acts as an intermediary platform only. We are not a party to any employment, freelance, or service agreement entered into between artists and studios, and we accept no liability for the terms or outcomes of those arrangements.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to create an account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with third parties. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period. Where possible, we will provide advance notice before termination.

Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on the billing cycle you have selected. We never store your full card details on our servers.

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and no further charges will be made.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with our 2+ Responses Guarantee and applicable consumer protection law. If your paid listing does not receive at least two applications from real artists within 14 days of going live, contact us for a full refund.

You agree not to use TattooGigs to post false, misleading, or discriminatory listings, to scrape or harvest data from the platform, to send unsolicited commercial messages, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.

Studio accounts may only post genuine vacancies for real positions. Artists may not misrepresent their skills, portfolio, or work history. We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these standards.

Violations of these rules may result in immediate account suspension. Serious or repeated violations may be referred to the relevant legal authorities.

TattooGigs is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for any losses arising from platform downtime, data loss, or actions taken by other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TattooGigs' total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify active users by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
