Job Title: Full-Time Tattoo Artist Location: Alfreton Derbyshire uk Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a talented and professional Tattoo Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about tattooing, has strong artistic ability, maintains high hygiene standards, and delivers an excellent client experience. Key Responsibilities • Create custom tattoo designs based on client ideas and references • Perform high-quality tattoos in a clean and safe manner • Maintain a sterile and organized workstation following health regulations • Consult with clients about placements, designs, sizing, and aftercare • Build and maintain a personal client base and contribute to studio reputation • Work collaboratively with other artists and studio staff • Promote work through social media and studio platforms (where applicable) Requirements • Previous professional tattooing experience (apprenticeship or shop experience preferred) • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles • Excellent drawing and design skills • Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety standards • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to work full-time hours, including some weekends • Up-to-date licensing/registration as required by local regulations Preferred Skills (not essential but beneficial) • Experience in multiple styles (e.g., realism, fine line, traditional, color, black & grey) • Machine maintenance knowledge • Permanent makeup or piercing experience • Content creation / social media marketing awareness What We Offer • Supportive and creative studio environment • Competitive commission structure / salary (depending on experience) • Steady walk-in traffic and bookings • Opportunity for growth and brand building within the studio
