We are seeking an experienced Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio, excellent client communication skills, and a commitment to safe, clean, and ethical tattooing practices. The ideal candidate is reliable, self‑motivated, and passionate about their craft.
Responsibilities:
-Create custom tattoo designs based on client consultations
-Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workstation
-Follow all Massachusetts state health and safety regulations
-Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients
-Manage appointments, time, and workflow efficiently
-Collaborate with other artists and contribute to a positive studio culture
-Promote your work through social media and studio channels
-Uphold studio standards for professionalism, inclusivity, and client care
Requirements:
-2+ years of professional tattooing experience (apprenticeship completed)
-Strong portfolio demonstrating consistent, high‑quality work
-Valid Massachusetts Body Art Practitioner License (or ability to obtain)
-Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens, cross‑contamination prevention, and proper sterilization
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
-No ego — team‑oriented mindset
Preferred (Not Required):
-Specialization in a particular style (fine line, traditional, realism, etc.)
-Experience with walk‑ins and custom projects
-Strong social media presence and/or willingness to grow and self-promoted on various platforms
Compensation :
Competitive artist split based on experience and portfolio quality.
